1. I am looking for a VC Solution which can offer me Best Video Quality and Audio quality at the lowest bandwidth.

8. Technology is changing fast and already HD Video Conference and TelePresence solutions are available. Today our requirement is to implement SD Video Conference but definitely in future we want to go for higher technology? Will our present investment go for a waste?

9. We have 100 offices and though our Video Conference requirement is not connecting more than 10 locations at time but twice a month Sr. Management wants to communicate message to all locations Together. It doesn’t make sense to implement VC at all these locations for this requirement which is only twice a month as it will be very expensive

11. We also have some important meetings which we want to record? Also we have some pre recorded video files which we need to show to all participants what can we do for that?

12. Today we are going to implement Standard Definition but tomorrow we might plan to go for TelePresence or HD Video Conferencing? Do we need to buy separate product again?

14. What is the option available to connect remote locations which don’t have internet connectivity?

15. We have many sales and business development people who are internationally traveling and many of the times they don’t have access of internet but it is important for them to participate a particular meeting? What can we do about it?

People link has optional Modules like SIP and VOIP, through these features employees can be able to join the Video conference through at least audio mode by SIP or VOIP services at cheaper rates.

16. Many a times in a multi location inter departmental conference where (few Sales locations, Few Finance locations, few marketing locations, few R&D Locations) have joined in the conference and management wants an opinion from each department separately on a particular topic. At these times each department people need to consult each other and then finalize their opinion, we don’t want them to call separately each other and then again come on a VC to give their viewpoint. It is very cumbersome. Do you have any solution?

PeopleLink has the Capability of Grouping that means split Multi location VC into small virtual groups for interdepartmental short meetings within the same conference so that a common view point on a topic can be reached by each department and shared with management. During grouping although all departments are logged in on a same MCU but after grouping only each department can hear the audio of each other no one can hear what other department people are talking. Once they are again ungrouped then all are again the part of the VC call.

17. The VC solution should have capability for extra security for Top Confidential management meetings, like if someone knows the password and enters the conference it could cause leak of company information.

PeopleLink has the option to lock down the conference so that even someone knows the password they cannot enter into the confidential meeting session.

18. If the Particular VC secession is prolonged for a longer duration than booked slot and we have other users waiting, What can we do?

As an Administrator you have option to send text Announcement message on every meeting attendee as a reminder without barging into the meeting and without creating disturbance.

19. Since we will have many locations to log in at the same time many of the times in ambiguous discussions everyone might start to talk at the same time and some people may create nuisance. Do you have any solution to ensure this can be controlled?

PeopleLink has special privileges give to the Moderator like Moderator can Mute all or particular participant, dismiss someone from the conference who is creating nuisance, Forcibly sync Video Layouts so that all participants are on the common page.

20. In a Multi location Video Conference sessions, many a times, management wants employee opinions on Important Ambiguous topics which no participant is generally able to give direct opinion due to fear etc? Are there any tools available which can take care of this issue?

Peoplelink has 2 options available for the same one is Secret Ballot like Creating Polling Sessions with multiple options where participants can give their opinions freely and no one will know who has voted what and Management will get exact unbiased opinions. 2nd option is Referendums , this is used in case a quick yes or no is expected as an answer and consolidated report as how many participants are in favor will be displayed quickly as a result.

21. VC solution should also have possible Option of Displaying who is online so that quick Point to Point VC calls can be made.

PeopleLink has inbuilt Point to Point Video Conference Module which participants can be seen online and you can make quick point to point Video Conference calls without using the MCU ports. This also saves the cost of MCU Ports to be purchased.

22. In Multi location Review meetings generally Multiple Videos are seen on One Screen and presentation on other, but if the multiple locations are not individuals but board rooms then even if we use 65inch or 80inch LCD’s still the remote participants are not clearly identifiable and the possible option is Video Wall which is very expensive. Do you have any option which is cost effective?

PeopleLink has Composite TV Wall functionality / Telepresence module which have the possibility of showing Each Location in Separate LCD/plasma so that every participant in a Board room is clearly visible and the Cost of Spending on Video Wall is also saved. Total up to 16 LCD/Plasmas can be connected.

23. It would be great if we could also integrate IP surveillance Cameras into the VC Solution so that we have one Single Solution which could integrate everything and manageability is also easy.

24. Video Conference is becoming very critical in our Organization and we use it 8-10 hrs a Day, If in a mid of a Multi-location review the Video Conference MCU fails it wastes lot of important people time, VC Solution should have High Level of Uptime. Does PeopleLink have a solution to ensure that Uptime is 99.999%?

PeopleLink has an extra Module which is called HOT STANDBY OPTION. This module allows you to create mirror MCU and with Floating IP configuration in case the MCU fails, Mirror MCU Automatically take-up within few seconds.

In case of any other Competition MCU Solution you need to invest equivalent money for a backup MCU system and then also it won’t have hot standby option that it can automatically takeover.

25. We are looking for 100 Locations MCU? All 100 locations will be connected at the same time, Even though you solution can show all 100 location videos together but we have also bandwidth challenge and we don’t want to spend on Big Displays. What solution can PeopleLink provide in that scenario?

We have a Voice activated switching version which gives 8 Video Screen, One Big Video and 7 small size videos. Whichever location talks that locations Video Comes in big screen and even though 100 locations are in the conference only 8 videos can be seen and make sure that Location which is talking is always been seen and locations which have been idle for long time get replaced by new voice activated video. Also using Multiple Displays (where 3 to 16 displays are used) we can have Location which is talking that Video will go on a Full Screen mode to a separate Display automatically.

26. We have 5 Regional offices in India, each regional office has 10-15 branch offices connecting to them and we have 2 International offices one in US and one in UK and further they have 15 sales people in each country in different cities. Once in a while we have the requirement to connect all regional and international main offices to Head office, rest of the times regional offices need to do VC with their branch offices. Now the challenge is if we keep the MCU in HO central location if US or UK team or even my regional offices in India have to do VC with their branch offices they will every time come to MCU placed in HO and choke the bandwidth and international users latency will increase. It doesn’t make sense for us to buy separate MCU at each location? What is the possible Solution that Peoplelink can offer us?
