VCM Remote Management

The VCM (video communication management) conference management software is designed to monitor PeopleLink Video Conference Solutionservers and conferencing nodes, allowing the whole conferencing system to be monitored, controlled, tracked, maintained for disaster recovery. Also, to facilitate a comprehensive management over PeopleLink Conference, it integrates such functions as file dispatching, software/hardware information monitoring, and remote monitoring in the desktop management system.

The VCM is designed to control individual conferences by monitoring and managing the conference multi-point control unit, thereby ensuring proper server and node operations in conferencing and improving service quality, detecting equipment failures in a timely fashion. In addition, it provides a complete back-office management including user access right management, performance and status monitoring, alerting management, and remote desktop management, ensuring network video-conferencing to be conducted in a secure and reliable fashion.

Interfacing With H.323 Hardware

Telephone Conference Access

User, conference, and server management is all conducted by the central server, with conferencing and management facilities being separated. User conference login and system management are all conducted by a single central server, hence simplifying user operations and reducing system risks.

Single conference resources management source

All the conferencing system user resources are managed by the central server, allowing company-wise resources sharing and highly efficient resources use. Business-level web servers and databases are used by the central server to effectively ensure stable running under high loads. Business-level servers and databases are used to maximize system stability and ensure a reliable large-volume data management;

Hot standby for the central server to improve system operational reliability.

The central server serves as the orchestrating center of the whole system. The hot standby solution is used to ensure operational reliability of the central server.

Unlimited system scalability.

An independent cascading subsystem is used by the system for system scalability, wherein you can either choose to increase the number of slave servers in the subsystem or add an independent subsystem to allow a solid scalability. In addition, you can further improve subsystem capacity by adding more livecast servers to conduct an ultra-sized conference.

Individual subsystems operate independent of each other and do not affect each other.

The failure of one subsystem only affects the conferences on this system and will not affect the conferences on other subsystems.

Subsystems provide backup for each other

In the event one subsystem fails, the conferences on this subsystem are automatically moved to other subsystems, hence allowing the subsystems to provide backup for each other and in turn remarkably improving system availability.
